The Comanche Belt is a certified NFPA 1983 (1983) 2022 Edition Fire Resistance (FR) Escape/Ladder Belt (with MUS). It was designed to be assigned to an individual and be donned over the turnout coat. The gross adjustment on the back of the Comanche allows can be quickly sized to a wide range of waist sizes (28"-50"). This adjustment feature allows a department to reissue it to another firefighter when needed. The forward pulling fine adjustment allows the belt to be tightened or relaxed for a snug fit.
