  The Comanche Belt is a certified NFPA 1983 (1983) 2022 Edition Fire Resistance (FR) Escape/Ladder Belt (with MUS). It was design to be assigned to an individual, and be donned over the turnout coat.

  Fire Innovations Multi Use Strap (MUS) is a certified NFPA 1983:2022 Fire Resistance (FR) Ladder strap, a one-leg harness, and can be used for various RIT and victim carries/drags. This strap can be neatly stowed inside an accessory pouch or a turnout pocket. Also, the end of the MUS is an NFPA Positioning Point. Additionally, the carabinered Multi-Use Strap (CMUS) is an NFPA Escape Anchor in the Basket position. The MUS can attach via an NFPA carabiner or a Multi Configuration Strap (MCS).

  Accessory pouches allow stowage of the Multi-Use-Strap and many firefighter accessories such as tethers, gloves, etc. The installation procedures shown below apply to all accessory pouches.
  Note: This pouch is meant to be placed outside the turnout coat. At the end of installation, the pouches should open upwards.
